Prior’s Field is a vibrant and successful school with a fascinating history. Nestled within 42 acres of stunning Surrey countryside, we feel hundreds of miles away from the hustle and bustle of London, but can actually be in the city within forty minutes.
Our safe, tranquil setting could be home to your summer school with a difference, a place where individuality is celebrated and uniqueness embraced: a happy, positive environment, where everyone enjoys learning. Modern classrooms with hi-end facilities, superb quality food, glorious grounds with sports facilities and plentiful outdoor spaces make for the ideal venue for your residential stay.
The school is located just outside the pretty town of Godalming which dates from Saxon times and boasts timber buildings, cobbled streets and a pretty park adjacent to the River Wey. Nearby Guildford offers shops and good restaurants, a cinema, theatre, cathedral, castle and sports park.
Sports Hall
Located within our Sports department, whether it is for sports training or coaching, this superb indoor multi-use facility can be hired for a range of activities.

Dance Studio/Multi-Purpose Room
Our Dance Studio is the perfect facility to hire. As well as being used by local dance clubs and organisations for practice and rehearsals, the space is also suitable for those looking to hire a small studio for drama, aerobics or yoga. This space is also suitable for courses, for example first aid.
This facility can only be reached by stairs.
Grass Pitches
Our grass pitches are maintained by our in-house grounds team and are kept to a high standard all year round.
The pitches are generally marked but can be changed for other grass sports on request.
Netball/ Tennis Courts
We have 6 outdoor hard surface netball/tennis courts, which can also be used as large open spaces for other activities.
Astro Turf Pitch
The astro pitch constructed with a sand-based surface is specifically tailored for hockey, featuring dedicated hockey goals; however, it is versatile enough to accommodate various other sports as well.
Swimming Pool
Our swimming pool that is open in summer months is available for private hire for groups, training courses and clubs. A trained Lifeguard must be accompanied with group. We do not supply lifeguards.
