Discover our charity, the Prior’s Field Foundation
The Prior’s Field Foundation provides life-changing opportunities to girls who would truly benefit from the inspiring education Prior’s Field offers but who need financial support to access it. Building on a long history of bursary provision and fundraising for new facilities, the Foundation is funded entirely through donations from parents, alumnae, pupils, staff and friends of the school.
A Foundation Award is the offer of a fully funded place (day or boarding) to study at Prior’s Field Sixth Form.
These places are awarded to talented young women, whose family circumstances are a barrier to affordability, and whom we believe have the ability to reach their very best potential under the care of our expert teaching and boarding/pastoral teams.
Fully funded places transform a girl’s life experience and expand her future choices. They also create role models for others, helping to raise aspirations at a wider and deeper level across society.

Every donation goes a long way, for example:
If every family currently at Prior’s Field gave £5 a month for 5 years, they would pay for a fully funded boarding or day place for a Foundationer in the Sixth Form.
If 50 Old Girls gave 1% of their net salary* a month for 5 years, they would pay for a fully funded boarding or day place for a Foundationer in the Sixth Form
* Based on a gross salary of £24k

Leaving a gift or legacy in your will
If you would like to have an initial discussion about the possibility of leaving a legacy in your will please contact us. Such a decision needs careful thought and we would want to meet with you to gently explore your wishes as to how the gift might help others and an appropriate way that we could commemorate your gift within the school.
