Community Outreach & Partnerships

At Prior’s Field, we pride ourselves on the strong partnerships we have built with our local community, enriching both our students and the wider population. One of our key initiatives is the Volunteer Programme, where 84% of our 6th Form students dedicate their time to supporting three local primary schools. Volunteers receive glowing feedback, highlighting the positive impact they make.

Through our Sports Leaders Programme, over 25% of 5th Form students help deliver sports tuition to 180 primary school children aged 9-11. In various sessions held over several months, Prior’s Field students develop key leadership skills such as confidence, teamwork, and patience, while younger pupils enjoy the sports activities and have the opportunity to use Prior’s Field’s facilities. This mutual exchange fosters greater understanding between age groups.

Prior’s Field also supports local schools through workshops and resource sharing. We have hosted 6 different workshops across subjects such as Music, Art, Spanish and Textiles, benefiting 11 local schools. Our state school partnerships extend to offering sports equipment, such as tennis balls and hockey sticks, to local primary schools. Additionally, primary school students have been inspired by presentations from Mintridge Sports Speakers, financed by Prior’s Field.

Throughout the year, Prior’s Field invites the local community to join in on various events, including a community production involving 55 primary school children and 25 local community members. We also provide opportunities for 355 pupils aged 9-13 to take part in sports events, 78 music students to engage in musical projects, and 71 children in an exciting art trail.

We are dedicated to collaborating with over 30 local schools, including special needs institutions. At Prior’s Field, partnership is key to fostering growth, learning and a spirit of community.
