Prior’s Field Junior Tennis Academy (PFJTA) is an official LTA Registered venue situated within the Prior’s Field School grounds in Godalming and offers 6 well maintained tarmac tennis courts, two of them with floodlights for evening and winter access.
PFJTA also offers an inclusive, comprehensive, and very affordable tennis coaching programme for players of all ages and abilities to suit everyone’s needs and playing experience.
Juniors and Adults tennis coaching programme
The tennis coaching programme caters for juniors from 4-18 years old as well as adults.
So, whether you have never picked a racket, or are an experienced tournament player, our range of carefully designed coaching sessions are equipped to take you or your children to the next level.
Our highly experienced LTA Accredited coaches will help you to take your game forwards. Prior’s Field Junior Tennis Academy is the perfect combination of an International Tennis Academy and a friendly Tennis Club.
Technical detail with fun and creativity
At PFJTA we dedicate special attention on the technical aspects of the game but always with a good amount of FUN and CREATIVITY. For us it’s the perfect combination to ensure that our juniors will learn, improve, and enjoy at the same time. We are delighted to have programmes that all work towards continuously improving young players whilst keeping the FUN alive.
Free Taster Sessions
We always offer FREE taster sessions to make sure that the Juniors are in the right group according to their age /level to provide the best possible environment for their development. You will be warmly welcome by our Director of Tennis Jorge Martin “George”.

No membership Fee
Juniors don’t need to become members to attend the coaching programme, so PFJTA does not apply a hefty extra membership fee.
Our endeavour is to promote the tennis as a sport in the Godalming area and surroundings. Through the tennis, children will stay active, build confidence, make friends and learn a sport for life.
Prior’s Field School belongs to the Academy
Prior’s Field Junior Tennis Academy and Prior’s Field School belong to the same structure. We at PFJTA know that even the most talented and gifted juniors without appropriate coaching will find it very difficult to go to the next step in their development as tennis players.
Booking
All bookings are now made through our easy to use online system, powered by Bookwhen. You can book your free taster session or reserve your place for the full term it’s quick and simple!
Lessons are now booked termly to ensure every session is tailored to the group and to guarantee that our limited spaces are used effectively. With high demand, ad hoc bookings are not available, so reserving your place now ensures you don’t miss out.

Please note: All term-time coaching sessions are non-refundable. Missed sessions may be rescheduled in a different group or on an alternative day, subject to availability.
If a session is cancelled due to weather, the decision will be made at the coach’s discretion. While refunds are not available, a credit will be applied toward the next term of coaching.
