Welcome to Prior’s Field, our pioneering school founded in 1902 on the principles of an all-girls education, where there is no limit to what each individual student can achieve.

OUR HISTORY
Julia Huxley
Julia Huxley opened Prior’s Field on 23rd January 1902. In the few years before she died aged only 46 in 1908, she created an extraordinary school which nurtured talent, fostered ambition and encouraged girls to look out into society, as it does to this day.
